Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Itaperu FC's Jaime Queiroz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Armandinho Baptista kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Juan Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Luís Varela was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 14th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Itaperu FC were furious when Juan Seco was red carded, 17 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Itaperu FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! In the 19th minute there was a penalty for Mamede. Pedro Luís Varela stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tiago Rezende. 0-1. Paulinho de Brito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Paulinho de Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Válbson Duarte charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Válbson Duarte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 36 played minutes Itaperu FC got a freekick which was hit by Válbson Duarte. Pedro Luís Varela was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 37th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Paulinho de Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiago Rezende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulinho de Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. If Betinho de Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Itaperu FC booed when Mamede was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guilherme Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 48th minute by João Pedro Valle got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Paulinho de Brito made the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Patrick Barreto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mamede and the Itaperu FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Patrick Barreto hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Mamede defense, João Pedro Valle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evaristo Santana. The Mamede fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evaristo Santana should have stopped the shot. Glauco Passos hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Betinho de Queirós struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Tiago Rezende didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mamede. In the 67th minute, Mamede's Paulinho de Brito ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tiago Rezende. Tiago Rezende yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Patrick Barreto kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Armandinho Baptista's late challenge caught a Mamede's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armandinho Baptista helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th match minute, Itaperu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armandinho Baptista to maneuver through the defense. Betinho de Queirós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Evaristo Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Pedro Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After having played for 87 minutes, João Pedro Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itaperu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Pedro Valle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 89th minute, Betinho de Queirós got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alberto Braga received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tiago Rezende came out and tried to block the shot, but Alberto Braga slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 91st minute. In the 96th minute, Armandinho Baptista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Itaperu FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mamede were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
