Dito de Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Eduardo Travassos in the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Jurupema EC's Toninho Albuquerque dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Paulo Renato Ferreira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joélson Paraibano in the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Jurupema EC's zone, Aluísio de Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dito de Andrade came out of the goal and Aluísio de Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulo Renato Ferreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toninho Albuquerque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute Luís Eduardo Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dito de Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jurupema EC's Joélson Paraibano got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Toninho Albuquerque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute Toninho Albuquerque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Renato Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Jurupema EC's goal looked a bit too open when Aluísio de Toledo came free, but Dito de Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvacao SS's Aluísio de Toledo got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Toninho Albuquerque got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Toninho Albuquerque who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Paulo Renato Ferreira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 43rd minute, Oséias Saraiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Luís Eduardo Travassos made the kick off in the second half. Jurupema EC's Toninho Albuquerque got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dito de Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Eduardo Travassos in the 56th minute of the match. Paulo Renato Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joélson Paraibano in the 57th minute of the match. After having played for 63 minutes, Joélson Paraibano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jurupema EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joélson Paraibano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulo Renato Ferreira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joélson Paraibano went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Paulo Renato Ferreira came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Jurupema EC's Toninho Albuquerque. But to his dismay, Toninho Albuquerque quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Joélson Paraibano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Paulo Renato Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toninho Albuquerque in the 76th minute of play forced Alvacao SS's goalkeeper Paulo Renato Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Renato Ferreira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Toninho Albuquerque's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Durvalino Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alvacao SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Durvalino Silva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dito de Andrade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 87 minutes into the game, Gugu Peres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alvacao SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jurupema EC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Alvacao SS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 87th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Jurupema EC a penalty, 88 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Augusto Pernambucano, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Alvacao SS's Paulo Renato Ferreira. 4-0. In the 93rd minute Toninho Albuquerque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Renato Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 95 minutes, Toninho Albuquerque made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Alvacao SS's Paulo Renato Ferreira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jurupema EC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
