The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Padilha's zone, Murilo Lopes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Baiano came out of the goal and Murilo Lopes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Arí Travassos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Baiano was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. The supporters of Padilha booed when Pirarucu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tony Mesquita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gernando Prata might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gonçalo de Sena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gernando Prata ran back to his position shaking his head. Pirarucu played a much better game than Padilha and deserved their victory. The Padilha players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
