After 4 played minutes Padilha got a freekick which was hit by Romário Maia. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Nunes in the 5th minute of play forced Padilha's goalkeeper Thiago Baiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafinha Breckenfeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romário Maia hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After 29 minutes of play, Palhoca SS's Igor Nunes made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thiago Baiano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thiago Baiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafinha Breckenfeld, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Afonsinho Leão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Padilha's supporters rose to their feet, but Afonsinho Leão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dinei Couto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leandro Fantini stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Igor Nunes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Thiago Baiano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 58th minute Afonsinho Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinei Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Baiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafinha Breckenfeld in the 61st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fellipe Marquez during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Palhoca SS's Fellipe Marquez got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Dinei Couto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Afonsinho Leão went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Dinei Couto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Fantini, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Leandro Fantini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Dinei Couto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Afonsinho Leão in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dinei Couto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Rafinha Breckenfeld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
