Albertinho Pontes hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Breno Fantini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Breno Fantini came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Bastioes SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Breno Fantini couldn't finish the play. Breno Fantini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mário Lima having to interfere. Zacarias Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Alberto Leal having to interfere. If Rômulo Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Renatinho Berger charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Renatinho Berger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Renatinho Berger kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Zacarias Pereira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zacarias Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th match minute, Bastioes SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Gustavo Luz to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the match, Rômulo Nogueira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Carlos Alberto Leal, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rômulo Nogueira in the 76th minute of play forced Bastioes SC's goalkeeper Carlos Alberto Leal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Breno Fantini struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Mário Lima didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bastioes SC. After a rather tough play, Quieto's Zacarias Pereira got a free kick in the 81st minute. Mário Lima stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Breno Fantini's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Quieto's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
