Caboba AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Forromeco the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Cristiano Zanette managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caboba AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristiano Zanette was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Váldson da Cunha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16th minute, Nelsinho Prado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erasmo Mota in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zézinho Paulista saved Caboba AD from getting behind. A collision led to Forromeco getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Erasmo Mota hit a great ball. Cristiano Zanette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37thth minute of the game Tony Pinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Forromeco's Váldson da Cunha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Caboba AD getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Marquinhos do Nascimento hit a great ball. In the 44th minute Nelsinho Prado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zézinho Paulista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tony Pinho might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Váldson da Cunha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tony Pinho ran back to his position shaking his head.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nelsinho Prado to strike the kick off in the second half. Zézinho Paulista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelsinho Prado in the 61st minute of the match. Forromeco's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Giovani dos Santos in the 63rd minute. Váldson da Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Zanette in the 66th minute of the match. Váldson da Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tony Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Forromeco eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
