Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luiz Pinheiro kicked off to start the match. Zé Roberto Freitas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Kléberson Campidelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Pinheiro in the 5th minute of play forced Iapi SC's goalkeeper Kléberson Campidelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Pinheiro succeeded in the game's 7th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Thanks to some nice moves Zé Roberto Freitas could shoot a difficult shot in the 12th minute, which Kléberson Campidelis however easily saved by the left post. The referee felt a red card was in order, 14 minutes into the game, when Cido Nóbrega put in a rough tackle. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Iapi SC! Luiz Pinheiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Cortada's Luiz Pinheiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kléberson Campidelis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Zé Roberto Freitas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kléberson Campidelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilmar Sampaio in the 36th minute of the match. Zé Roberto Freitas struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Kléberson Campidelis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cortada. Zé Roberto Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfredinho Mendonça to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Iapi SC's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Roberto Freitas came free, but Kléberson Campidelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Zé Roberto Freitas sped through Iapi SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kléberson Campidelis. Edu Secco's late challenge caught a Cortada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edu Secco helped the player get up and apologised. When Luiz Pinheiro came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Cortada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Pinheiro couldn't finish the play. After having played for 74 minutes, Zé Roberto Freitas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cortada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Roberto Freitas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zé Roberto Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kléberson Campidelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Roberto Freitas, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After 93 minutes, Luiz Pinheiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cortada and the Iapi SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the referee ended the match the Cortada players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
