Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Jardel Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tales Quirino, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Sílvio Luiz Baptista hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After having played for 15 minutes, Iuri Freire managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tejipio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iuri Freire was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Tejipio booed when Paracatu SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Luiz Baptista didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Paracatu SS's goalkeeper Valdir Galvão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Iuri Freire managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tejipio's supporters rose to their feet, but Iuri Freire was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdir Galvão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Júnior Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Valdir Galvão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Sílvio Luiz Baptista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Iuri Freire came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Tejipio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iuri Freire couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Valdir Galvão successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With his leg Valdir Galvão managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Tejipio's Júnior Correia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jardel Salgado came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Paracatu SS's Tales Quirino. But to his dismay, Tales Quirino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1.

The wind increased when Iuri Freire made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Paracatu SS getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Cido de Andrade hit a great ball. Iuri Freire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Valdir Galvão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Júnior Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdir Galvão having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Paracatu SS's zone, Júnior Correia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdir Galvão came out of the goal and Júnior Correia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Paracatu SS's Tales Quirino in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tejipio's goalie prevented a goal. After 78 minutes, Bebeto Mello mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tejipio and the Paracatu SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bebeto Mello hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After 83 minutes of play Tejipio's Bebeto Mello was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 84th match minute, Tejipio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bebeto Mello to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tejipio's goalkeeper Jardel Salgado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tejipio's Jardel Salgado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Tejipio from getting a goal against them. Breno Netto's late challenge caught a Paracatu SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Breno Netto helped the player get up and apologised. Breno Netto kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. The corner led Paracatu SS's Armindo Freitas to fire away a dangerous shot which Jardel Salgado despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a little luck, Tejipio's Jardel Salgado got control of the ball when Paulinho Amaral tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Paracatu SS eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
