After 2 played minutes Parasinho AD got a freekick which was hit by Edu Couto. If Gildo Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Parasinho AD's Baltazar Simão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Pimenta in the 8th minute of play. If Juan de Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Natã Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Paulão Pimenta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Pedro Pimenta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Baltazar Simão. The goal made the score 1-0. Gildo Coelho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Baltazar Simão made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guga Leão during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Parasinho AD's Guga Leão got a free kick in the 29th minute. Pedro Pimenta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Parasinho AD's Baltazar Simão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Pimenta in the 36th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Gildo Coelho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guaraxaim SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Gildo Coelho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baltazar Simão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juan de Brito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th minute Natã Vieira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulão Pimenta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Guaraxaim SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Parasinho AD the free kick. Caetano Viana hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Natã Vieira struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Paulão Pimenta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Parasinho AD. After some careless play in the Guaraxaim SS defense, Natã Vieira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulão Pimenta. The Guaraxaim SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulão Pimenta should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Guaraxaim SS's zone, Juan de Brito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulão Pimenta came out of the goal and Juan de Brito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Guga Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulão Pimenta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natã Vieira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guaraxaim SS's Caetano Viana got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Pimenta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baltazar Simão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. If Natã Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the game, Gabriel Baiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
