Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rafael Toscano started the match with the kick off. If Isaltino Novaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lúcio Cosme didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 8th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Dráuzio Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Lúcio Cosme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isaltino Novaes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lúcio Cosme having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Isaltino Novaes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Painel's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaltino Novaes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lúcio Cosme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lúcio Cosme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaltino Novaes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Painel's Lúcio Cosme threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Isaltino Novaes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 37 minutes, Dráuzio Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Painel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dráuzio Barros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rafael Toscano might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcus Dante. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rafael Toscano ran back to his position shaking his head. Erasmo Sampaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isaltino Novaes to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Dráuzio Barros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lúcio Cosme. Pirangai FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dráuzio Barros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 57th minute Dráuzio Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lúcio Cosme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manolo Carneiro during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 58 played minutes Pirangai FC got a freekick which was hit by Manolo Carneiro. Isaltino Novaes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Lúcio Cosme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isaltino Novaes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lúcio Cosme having to make a save. The attack was good, but when Rafael Toscano in the 64th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manfredo Medeiros during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 67 played minutes Pirangai FC got a freekick which was hit by Manfredo Medeiros. Lúcio Cosme didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaltino Novaes went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Manolo Carneiro got his second yellow card in the match during the 76th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Lúcio Cosme didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dráuzio Barros went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. 91 minutes into the match, Pirangai FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isaltino Novaes came free, but Lúcio Cosme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dráuzio Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pirangai FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Painel.
