Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Tarumirim FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 5th minute, when Emerson Barreto scored to the left of an out of position Thiago Hames, making the score, 1-0. After 12 played minutes Tarumirim FC got a freekick which was hit by Jerônimo Mineiro. Tarumirim FC's Basílio Bueno couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 16th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Carovi AD. Carovi AD's Washington Coutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albertino Freire in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Tarumirim FC's Albertino Freire nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Washington Coutinho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Emerson Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Osmar Vale in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Hames prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Osmar Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Thiago Hames tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rdth minute of the game Serginho Freire who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carovi AD's Washington Coutinho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 39th minute, Osmar Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carovi AD's Washington Coutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serginho Freire in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Osmar Vale made the kick off in the second half. Carovi AD's Washington Coutinho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Carovi AD from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Carovi AD getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Benjamin Neves hit a great ball. In the 55th minute, Basílio Bueno sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Carovi AD's Washington Coutinho didn't even have to move. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Osmar Vale in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Hames prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Serginho Freire's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Washington Coutinho was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Washington Coutinho was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Serginho Freire capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Serginho Freire really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. In the 71st minute, Amadeu da Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Eduardo Teles, 72 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After recieving a nice pass, Tarumirim FC's Basílio Bueno tried to score from far away in the 76th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After having played for 90 minutes, Serginho Freire managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tarumirim FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serginho Freire was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
