Laércio Faustino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laércio Faustino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Jeremias Corrêa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thiago Diniz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Abundancia SS's goalkeeper Valdemar Montenegro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cido Meireles. In the 26th minute Thiago Diniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Abundancia SS booed when Bonfinopolis EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandrinho Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Laércio Faustino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bonfinopolis EC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Remo Azevedo was slow to take the kick. During this time Abundancia SS's players had a chance to rest. Cido Meireles's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Valdemar Montenegro firmly grabbed it by the left post. Valdemar Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Faustino in the 35th minute of play. Cido Meireles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Délio Braga hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Cido Meireles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Valdemar Montenegro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cido Meireles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ismael Faustino was extremely unlucky when he, in the 47th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laércio Faustino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leonardo Alves's late challenge caught a Abundancia SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonardo Alves helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Bonfinopolis EC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Leonardo Alves hit a great ball. Thiago Diniz struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Jeremias Corrêa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Abundancia SS. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laércio Faustino in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeremias Corrêa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Célio Dracena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Valdemar Montenegro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Faustino in the 82nd minute of play forced Abundancia SS's goalkeeper Valdemar Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thiago Diniz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cido Meireles struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Valdemar Montenegro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bonfinopolis EC. In a very dangerous position, a player in Abundancia SS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
