Sandrinho Valle's late challenge caught a Uruguayana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sandrinho Valle helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Bonfinopolis EC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Sandrinho Valle hit a great ball. In the 30thth minute of the game Antônio das Neves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bonfinopolis EC's Jeremias Corrêa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Antônio das Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bonfinopolis EC's Jeremias Corrêa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dedé de Carvalho in the 35th minute of play. Dedé de Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Corrêa having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Uruguayana's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Faustino came free, but Gláuber Gaúcho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adelino Fantini's late challenge caught a Bonfinopolis EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adelino Fantini helped the player get up and apologised. Ismael Faustino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Gláuber Gaúcho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Uruguayana's Gláuber Gaúcho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Faustino in the 48th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ismael Faustino to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Antônio das Neves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguayana's zone, Cido Meireles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gláuber Gaúcho came out of the goal and Cido Meireles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cido Meireles in the 71st minute of play forced Uruguayana's goalkeeper Gláuber Gaúcho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Uruguayana's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Faustino came free, but Gláuber Gaúcho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Egídio Carneiro struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Gláuber Gaúcho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bonfinopolis EC. After 79 minutes of play, Bonfinopolis EC's Cido Meireles made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gláuber Gaúcho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bonfinopolis EC's Jeremias Corrêa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dedé de Carvalho in the 83rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Dedé de Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguayana's supporters rose to their feet, but Dedé de Carvalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeremias Corrêa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bonfinopolis EC's Jeremias Corrêa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Bonfinopolis EC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Bonfinopolis EC's zone, Dedé de Carvalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremias Corrêa came out of the goal and Dedé de Carvalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Uruguayana's Gláuber Gaúcho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Faustino in the 95th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bonfinopolis EC had won after a very even match.
