Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Tiago França blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedrinho Arantes having to make a save. Conrado Secco hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. A collision led to Imbirucu AD getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Silvinho Mattos hit a great ball. After 12 played minutes Imbirucu AD got a freekick which was hit by João Augusto Mazza. 15 minutes into the match, Imbirucu AD's Tiago França sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedrinho Arantes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 19 minutes, Luiz Paulo Breckenfeld managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Viramao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Paulo Breckenfeld was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luiz Paulo Breckenfeld recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedrinho Arantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago França, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When João Augusto Mazza fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Imbirucu AD's protests and gave João Augusto Mazza a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Viramao booed when Imbirucu AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Augusto Mazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Conrado Secco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedrinho Arantes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Luiz Paulo Breckenfeld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fabiano Tróia having to interfere. Luís Fabiano Tróia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilton Vasconcelos, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. A collision led to Imbirucu AD getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. João Augusto Mazza hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Conrado Secco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Imbirucu AD's goal looked a bit too open when Nilton Vasconcelos came free, but Luís Fabiano Tróia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 55 played minutes Viramao got a freekick which was hit by Roger Peixoto. After a defensive mix-up in Imbirucu AD's zone, Nilton Vasconcelos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Fabiano Tróia came out of the goal and Nilton Vasconcelos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nilton Vasconcelos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fabiano Tróia having to interfere. Conrado Secco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tiago França's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedrinho Arantes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Nilton Vasconcelos made a precise shot to the right of Luís Fabiano Tróia. Imbirucu AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 89th minute, Tiago França hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nilton Vasconcelos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fabiano Tróia having to interfere. João Paulo Lopez's late challenge caught a Viramao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Paulo Lopez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th minute, João Paulo Lopez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 98 minutes Imbirucu AD's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Romeu Prestes who took care of the corner kick. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
