The Subauma fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Naldo Ferraz should have stopped the shot. Severino Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naldo Ferraz having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Subauma's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cristiano Bastos fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 16th match minute, Subauma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cafu Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. Cristiano Bastos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juvenal Arósio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Ferraz in the 19th minute of the match. Fábio Damião could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Naldo Ferraz made a huge save. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristiano Bastos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Severino Simões got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Severino Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Naldo Ferraz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severino Simões recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
