After 7th play minutes Dedé Cabral shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Eugênio Vale and just under the crossbar into goal. Camurcim AD's Maurinho Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thiago Mazza in the 12th minute of play. After 23 minutes, Durvalino Soeiro made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Camurcim AD's Maurinho Baptista tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 26 minutes into the match, Camurcim AD's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Coutinho came free, but Maurinho Baptista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by Dedé Cabral got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jaime Mendonça's late challenge caught a Taquaretinga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaime Mendonça helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd match minute, Camurcim AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. Ronaldo Coutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th match minute, Taquaretinga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thiago Mazza to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute of the match, Dedé Cabral tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eugênio Vale saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Taquaretinga getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Thiago Mazza hit a great ball. With a little luck, Taquaretinga's Eugênio Vale got control of the ball when Víktor Breckenfeld tried to sneak it across the goal line. Víktor Breckenfeld took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eugênio Vale. Eugênio Vale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When Ronaldo Coutinho came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Taquaretinga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronaldo Coutinho couldn't finish the play. With an all-out effort, Taquaretinga's Maurinho Baptista threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ronaldo Coutinho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Eugênio Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Víktor Breckenfeld in the 63rd minute of play. Durvalino Soeiro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Maurinho Baptista skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Camurcim AD's Sandrinho Sarmento got a free kick in the 68th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Camurcim AD's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Coutinho came free, but Maurinho Baptista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Durvalino Soeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Maurinho Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Víktor Breckenfeld scored 3-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eugênio Vale, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maurinho Baptista stood somewhat misplaced when Ronaldo Coutinho came free in front of goal and shot 3-2 to the left of him in the 85 minute. With a little luck, Camurcim AD's Maurinho Baptista got control of the ball when Durvalino Soeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bebeto Linares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Taquaretinga players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Camurcim AD.
