Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) When Zé Lucas came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Jaquhype SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Lucas couldn't finish the play. Bebeto Linares kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Ronaldo Coutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Durvalino Soeiros short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Júlio Lara to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Júlio Lara made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Durvalino Soeiro sent off a good shot on target. Júlio Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Coutinho in the 14th minute of play. After 16 played minutes Jaquhype SC got a freekick which was hit by Olavo Lira. Álvaro Eger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Eugênio Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute of the match David Meira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eugênio Vale skillfully saved the ball. Ronaldo Coutinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 27th minute, Dorival Terra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Júlio Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bebeto Linares in the 31st minute of play. If Durvalino Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dorival Terra hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Ronaldo Coutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Júlio Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Zé Lucas made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Narciso da Rocha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jaquhype SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Taquaretinga the free kick. The supporters of Taquaretinga booed when Jaquhype SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso da Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute of the match Alessandro Velasco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Júlio Lara skillfully saved the ball. Durvalino Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Jaquhype SC's Olavo Lira got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Durvalino Soeiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Júlio Lara having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Durvalino Soeiro in the 67th minute of play forced Jaquhype SC's goalkeeper Júlio Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Taquaretinga's Ronaldo Coutinho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Júlio Lara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Júlio Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Coutinho in the 74th minute of play. Durvalino Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronaldo Coutinho scored 2-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Júlio Lara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Thiago Mazza fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Taquaretinga's protests and gave Thiago Mazza a yellow card for diving instead. Álvaro Eger might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eugênio Vale. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Álvaro Eger ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 90th minute, Célio Tasso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eugênio Vale didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Álvaro Eger went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Zé Lucas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Eugênio Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Taquaretinga were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Jaquhype SC for a fine match.
