In the 2nd minute, Víktor Breckenfeld got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 6 minutes, Nilmar Baiano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tertuliano and the Camurcim AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th match minute, Tertuliano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilmar Baiano to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Camurcim AD's zone, Tales Alves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurinho Baptista came out of the goal and Tales Alves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Camurcim AD's Maurinho Baptista got control of the ball when Tales Alves tried to sneak it across the goal line. Erivaldo Messias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dedé Cabral in the 13th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Camurcim AD's Gilberto Pinheiro got a free kick in the 15th minute. Tales Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19thth minute of the game Albertinho Guerra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Camurcim AD's Maurinho Baptista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dedé Cabral in the 25th minute of play forced Tertuliano's goalkeeper Erivaldo Messias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Albertinho Guerra in the 27th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Maurinho Baptista kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tales Alves got free with Maurinho Baptista in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Dedé Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Camurcim AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Dedé Cabral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erivaldo Messias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Camurcim AD's João Paulo Antunes got a free kick in the 61st minute. 66 minutes into the game, Sílvio Andrade was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tertuliano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Camurcim AD the free kick. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tertuliano! After having played for 73 minutes, Víktor Breckenfeld managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Camurcim AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Víktor Breckenfeld was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelinho Freitas during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marcelinho Freitas hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Tales Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the match, Tertuliano's Albertinho Guerra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maurinho Baptista narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 90th minute Tales Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurinho Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Albertinho Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erivaldo Messias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Víktor Breckenfeld in the 98th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
