Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ivo Cerezo kicked off to start the match. Eduardo Magalhães charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eduardo Magalhães the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A hard shot 17 in the game by Marco Dante from a close distance when the talented Arlindo Travassos managed to make a qualified save. Casino's players were relieved. In the 21st minute of the match Artur Araújo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arlindo Travassos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hélder Mumbach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmyr Senna in the 22nd minute of the match. Elói do Nascimento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Walmyr Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute Ivo Cerezo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélder Mumbach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Badajos's Lenílson Gomes got a free kick in the 34th minute. Walmyr Senna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hélder Mumbach read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Rodolfo Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Eduardo Magalhães took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 50th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arlindo Travassos. Casino's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valdemar do Vale to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Tostão Queirós was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Casino's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Badajos the free kick. Hélder Mumbach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivo Cerezo in the 58th minute of the match. Ronaldinho Rodrigues shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 66 minutes into the game, Ivo Cerezo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hélder Mumbach. Ivo Cerezo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Arlindo Travassos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdemar do Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 78 minutes of play, Badajos's Valdemar do Vale made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arlindo Travassos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Walmyr Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Mumbach having to interfere. When %teams%'s Ivo Cerezo was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-2 just inside the left pole, 88 minutes into the game. Hélder Mumbach was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Elói do Nascimento struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Hélder Mumbach didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Casino. Casino's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
