An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Augusto Moraes in the 9th minute of play forced Quaresma SS's goalkeeper Kauã Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Kauã Carneiro managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Jeceaba SS's Valdo Rossi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 11th match minute, Quaresma SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Paranaense to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Kauã Carneiro managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Jeceaba SS's Valdo Rossi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Elias de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Acácio Novaes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Cristóvão Travassos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristóvão Travassos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Acácio Novaes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quaresma SS's Elias de Castro got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kauã Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Augusto Moraes in the 32nd minute of the match. Quaresma SS's Kauã Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Augusto Moraes in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute Acácio Novaes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristóvão Travassos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeceaba SS's Cristóvão Travassos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Félix in the 40th minute of play. Acácio Novaes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristóvão Travassos having to make a save. Cristóvão Travassos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias de Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Kauã Carneiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Augusto Moraes's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The supporters of Jeceaba SS booed when Quaresma SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Paranaense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Augusto Moraes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeceaba SS's Cristóvão Travassos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Jeceaba SS from getting a goal against them. In the 61st minute Elias de Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristóvão Travassos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 63rd minute by Elias de Castro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 64th minute, Gil Quintal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Jeceaba SS's zone, Acácio Novaes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristóvão Travassos came out of the goal and Acácio Novaes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristóvão Travassos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias de Castro in the 68th minute of the match. Kauã Carneiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Augusto Moraes went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Kauã Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Augusto Moraes in the 76th minute of play. Kauã Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdo Rossi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute Valdo Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kauã Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
