Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Magno Pombal started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Chiruan SS's Magno Pombal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Magno Pombal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Filipe Jacinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgard Velloso got free with Filipe Jacinto in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Garapa's Filipe Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magno Pombal in the 15th minute of play. Juan Alvarenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor da Silveira in the 23rd minute of play. Zé Paulo Pereira hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Chiruan SS's Juan Alvarenga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor da Silveira in the 41st minute of play. Garapa's Sidnei Saraiva got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juan Alvarenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor da Silveira in the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chiruan SS's goalkeeper Juan Alvarenga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Magno Pombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filipe Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Velloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sidnei Saraiva did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Juan Alvarenga 55 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the match, Garapa's goal looked a bit too open when Magno Pombal came free, but Filipe Jacinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 67 minutes of play, Chiruan SS's Magno Pombal made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filipe Jacinto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Magno Pombal struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Filipe Jacinto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chiruan SS. Edgard Velloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sidnei Saraiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Alvarenga having to interfere. Filipe Jacinto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Magno Pombal went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Nestor da Silveira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juan Alvarenga having to make a save. A collision led to Chiruan SS getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Jânio Guimarães hit a great ball. In the 98th minute Dinei Macedo managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Chiruan SS had won after a very even match.
