Geovani Tande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mané Trigo in the 17th minute of the match. When Baltazar Borges fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chorona FC's protests and gave Baltazar Borges a yellow card for diving instead. Baltazar Borges kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Carlos Baiano struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Benê Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chorona FC. Chorona FC's Carlos Baiano got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benê Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Baiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle went the supporters of Corujas were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Chorona FC side.
