Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Baiano in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arlindo de Queiroz saved Moeda from getting behind. Carlos Baiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chorona FC's Carlos Baiano got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Laerte Valle scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arlindo de Queiroz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 13th minute, Baltazar Borges hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Bernardinho Matos came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Moeda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardinho Matos couldn't finish the play. If Carlos Baiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Chorona FC's Laerte Valle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arlindo de Queiroz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carlos Baiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Chorona FC's Geovani Tande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Guerra in the 31st minute of play. Arlindo de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laerte Valle in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of Moeda booed when Chorona FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltazar Borges didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Moeda's zone, Carlos Baiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arlindo de Queiroz came out of the goal and Carlos Baiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Laerte Valle struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Arlindo de Queiroz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chorona FC. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Laerte Valle to make the kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chorona FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 51st minute. Penalty! The referee gave Moeda a penalty, 53 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Digo Guimarães, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Chorona FC's Geovani Tande. 2-1. The supporters of Moeda booed when Chorona FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elói Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laerte Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Arlindo de Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Laerte Valle dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arlindo de Queiroz, 2-2. In the 67th minute Alessandro Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovani Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Moeda booed when Chorona FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elói Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arlindo de Queiroz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Baiano in the 70th minute. Carlos Baiano might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arlindo de Queiroz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Baiano ran back to his position shaking his head. Tião Correia hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Moeda's Arlindo de Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noel Damião in the 84th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Moeda's goal looked a bit too open when Laerte Valle came free, but Arlindo de Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, Laerte Valle reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arlindo de Queiroz. The goal made the score 2-3. Guga Mangueira's late challenge caught a Chorona FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guga Mangueira helped the player get up and apologised. Chorona FC played a much better game than Moeda and deserved their victory. The Moeda players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
