Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Luiz Fabiano Prestes got the match started through his kick off. Aurilandia's Murillo Vides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rony Neto in the 8th minute of play. If Luiz Fabiano Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the match, Quiniporo EC's Chicão Pitta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Murillo Vides narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Quiniporo EC booed when Aurilandia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcinho Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute of the match Aílton Vidal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Murillo Vides skillfully saved the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Quiniporo EC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fabiano Prestes came free, but Ernani Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Quiniporo EC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Ivo Quaresma hit a great ball. Murillo Vides showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rony Neto, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th match minute, Aurilandia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcinho Reis to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Quiniporo EC's Ernani Silveira got control of the ball when Luiz Fabiano Prestes tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 31st minute of the match Diamantino Xavier sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Murillo Vides skillfully saved the ball. Rony Neto might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Murillo Vides. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rony Neto ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 35th minute, Alessandro Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute, Rony Neto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Murillo Vides was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 42nd minute, Jânio Netto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernani Silveira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kléber de Almeida in the 43rd minute. The Aurilandia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Quiniporo EC were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chicão Pitta to strike the kick off in the second half. Kléber de Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 55 minutes of play, Quiniporo EC's Rony Neto made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Murillo Vides was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Kléber de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Rony Neto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Murillo Vides was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Aurilandia's Murillo Vides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chicão Pitta in the 67th minute of play. Aurilandia's Murillo Vides proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Aurilandia from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Aurilandia's Dadá do Vale got a free kick in the 72nd minute. When Diamantino Xavier fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quiniporo EC's protests and gave Diamantino Xavier a yellow card for diving instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Caio Neto during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th minute, Caio Neto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Aurilandia's Luiz Fabiano Prestes got a free kick in the 76th minute. Ernani Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kléber de Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Alessandro Toledo hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Chicão Pitta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murillo Vides having to interfere. Alessandro Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Chicão Pitta was extremely unlucky when he, in the 86th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 88 minutes, Dadá do Vale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aurilandia and the Quiniporo EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th match minute, Aurilandia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dadá do Vale to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 89 minutes, Chicão Pitta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quiniporo EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chicão Pitta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcinho Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernani Silveira having to interfere. Kléber de Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Aurilandia fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when Aurilandia's Luiz Fabiano Prestes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
