Adalberto Vale hit a great ball. Vitório Toledo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cipriano Donato kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Adalberto Vale, 11 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to Sengo FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Cipriano Donato hit a great ball. In the 18thth minute of the game Thiago Cardozo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Taboca's Celsinho Fantini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luciano Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álvaro Jacinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Celsinho Fantini came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sengo FC's Vitório Toledo. But to his dismay, Vitório Toledo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Carlos Eduardo Arce kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute of the match Willian Sampaio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Celsinho Fantini skillfully saved the ball. Luciano Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugênio Zilles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Álvaro Jacinto in the 32nd minute of play forced Sengo FC's goalkeeper Luciano Mendes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Thiago Cardozo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celsinho Fantini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thiago Cardozo, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Adalberto Seco struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Luciano Mendes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Taboca. Taboca's Celsinho Fantini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thiago Cardozo in the 42nd minute of play. Thiago Cardozo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thiago Cardozo was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Taboca's goal looked a bit too open when Vitório Toledo came free, but Celsinho Fantini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Taboca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesinha Brodel to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Taboca's goalkeeper Celsinho Fantini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vitório Toledo struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Celsinho Fantini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sengo FC. In the 72nd match minute, Taboca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Eduardo Arce to maneuver through the defense. Celsinho Fantini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thiago Cardozo's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. The supporters of Sengo FC booed when Taboca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Eduardo Arce didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Thiago Cardozo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sengo FC's Luciano Mendes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Sengo FC from getting a goal against them. Taboca's Celsinho Fantini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thiago Cardozo in the 87th minute of play. If Álvaro Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sengo FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Taboca had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
