Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Buiu's zone, Gualter de Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walmir Cardozo came out of the goal and Gualter de Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jânio Trancoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias dos Santos in the 5th minute of the match. Acácio Guedes hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 6 minutes into the match, Axixa's goal looked a bit too open when Elias dos Santos came free, but Jânio Trancoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jânio Trancoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vânderson Hoffmann went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Elias dos Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Jânio Trancoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Buiu's Gilson Alcântara got a free kick in the 19th minute. Gualter de Castro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Walmir Cardozo made a huge save. Buiu's Walmir Cardozo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Buiu from getting a goal against them. Elias dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jânio Trancoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vânderson Hoffmann went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 39 minutes into the game, Víktor Rezende was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Axixa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buiu the free kick. After 39 played minutes Axixa got a freekick which was hit by Víktor Rezende. When Vânderson Hoffmann came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Buiu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vânderson Hoffmann couldn't finish the play. Jânio Trancoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vânderson Hoffmann went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 62nd minute, Cléberson Couto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gildo da Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jânio Trancoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. When Elias dos Santos came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Buiu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias dos Santos couldn't finish the play.
