Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Inácio Vasconcelos took the kick off in the first half of the match. João Paulo de Amorim blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frank Monteiro having to make a save. Frank Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Paulo de Amorim in the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edinho Leal in the 22nd minute of play forced Tapirapoa's goalkeeper Frank Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Uruana booed when Tapirapoa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vitório Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Inácio Vasconcelos kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Inácio Vasconcelos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Augusto Vergílio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Betão Mangueira came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Tapirapoa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Betão Mangueira couldn't finish the play. After having played for 38 minutes, João Paulo de Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruana's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Paulo de Amorim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Inácio Vasconcelos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 45 minutes of play, Tapirapoa's Betão Mangueira made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Augusto Vergílio was left in no man's land by his defense there!

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edinho Leal made a kick off. In the 61st minute, Edinho Leal reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Frank Monteiro. The goal made the score 1-1. A hard shot 67 in the game by João Paulo de Amorim from a close distance when the talented Frank Monteiro managed to make a qualified save. Tapirapoa's players were relieved. Uruana's José Augusto Vergílio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inácio Vasconcelos in the 73rd minute of play. In the 78th minute Betão Mangueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Augusto Vergílio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Paulo de Amorim in the 84th minute of play forced Tapirapoa's goalkeeper Frank Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Paulo de Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Monteiro having to interfere. Betão Mangueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Augusto Vergílio having to interfere. João Paulo de Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Frank Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
