Lenílson Galvão kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Camirim's goal looked a bit too open when Jerônimo França came free, but Cido Cabral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lenílson Galvão was shown his second yellow card after 30 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Lenílson Galvão hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Jerônimo França's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cido Cabral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Camirim's Chiquinho Reis got a free kick in the 37th minute. When Jerônimo França came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Extremas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerônimo França couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute, Camirim's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jerônimo França fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jerônimo França stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Ramón Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adalmo Martins got free with Caetano Britto in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Jerônimo França had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jerônimo França sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cido Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerônimo França in the 67th minute of play. Adalmo Martins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Caetano Britto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Camirim's goalkeeper Cido Cabral, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 81 minutes into the match, Camirim's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto de Lara came free, but Cido Cabral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adalmo Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Extremas's Caetano Britto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Extremas from getting a goal against them. Charles Trancoso's late challenge caught a Camirim's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Charles Trancoso helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Extremas's Charles Trancoso got a free kick in the 90th minute. The Camirim players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
