Richard Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovanni Maciel in the 3rd minute of play. With a little luck, Guigos AD's Paulo Brito got control of the ball when Guto Batista tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Guto Batista came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Tijuquinhas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guto Batista couldn't finish the play. Guto Batista struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Paulo Brito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tijuquinhas FC. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Tijuquinhas FC's William Zonta in the 13th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Paulo Brito was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Guigos AD through an amazing save. Guto Batista's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Paulo Brito firmly grabbed it by the left post. Tijuquinhas FC's Richard Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovanni Maciel in the 21st minute of play. If Edgar Souto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Tijuquinhas FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Dino Gonçalves hit a great ball. Edgar Souto struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Richard Queiroz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guigos AD. William Zonta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Brito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Guto Batista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Paulo Brito made a huge save. Guto Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guigos AD's Paulo Brito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Guigos AD from getting a goal against them.

Paulo Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Zonta in the 59th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tijuquinhas FC's Kiko Almeida got a free kick in the 60th minute. When Guigos AD's Giovanni Maciel in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tijuquinhas FC's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giovanni Maciel in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Richard Queiroz saved Tijuquinhas FC from getting behind. Edgar Souto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernando Rodrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 75th minute William Zonta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. William Zonta took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo Brito. Paulo Brito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When Edgar Souto came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Guigos AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Souto couldn't finish the play. Almir do Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Queiroz having to interfere. Guigos AD's Edgar Souto got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Richard Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovanni Maciel, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. William Zonta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Guigos AD's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Tijuquinhas FC had won, even though Guigos AD had held more of the ball.
