In the 2nd match minute, Tijuquinhas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Guedes to maneuver through the defense. Marcos Rocha struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Kiko Almeida charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kiko Almeida the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 5 played minutes Tijuquinhas FC got a freekick which was hit by Kiko Almeida. The supporters of Verdadeira booed when Tijuquinhas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dino Gonçalves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luiz Eduardo Salgado took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Richard Queiroz. Tijuquinhas FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 10th minute, Dino Gonçalves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute William Zonta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrézinho Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If William Zonta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haroldo Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Luiz Eduardo Salgado was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 31st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Verdadeira's goal looked a bit too open when William Zonta came free, but Andrézinho Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dino Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for William Zonta to strike the kick off in the second half. Andrézinho Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guto Batista in the 56th minute of the match. The supporters of Tijuquinhas FC booed when Verdadeira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juvenal Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Dorian Quirino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Verdadeira's supporters rose to their feet, but Dorian Quirino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Richard Queiroz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. William Zonta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute, Guto Batista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If William Zonta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Luiz Eduardo Salgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dorian Quirino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Richard Queiroz made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Marcos Rocha sent off a good shot on target. Richard Queiroz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dorian Quirino in the 90th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Verdadeira had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
