Bacaina's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Anderson Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Goiano in the 17th minute of the match. Anderson Goiano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christian Goiano's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. When Hamílton Matos fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bacaina's protests and gave Hamílton Matos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st match minute, Bacaina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamílton Matos to maneuver through the defense. Bacaina's Anderson Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Goiano in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute Christian Goiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anderson Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35thth minute of the game Narciso Ribeiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Acaam's Cássio Fonseca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Acaam's Diogo Quirino got a free kick in the 36th minute. Bernardo Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Cássio Fonseca was a little too slow when Narciso Ribeiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 0-1. Bernardo Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anderson Goiano having to interfere. Anderson Goiano was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Acaam's Cássio Fonseca got control of the ball when Zé Cabral tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 82nd match minute, Bacaina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ademar Rosa to maneuver through the defense. During the 83rd minute of the match Hamílton Matos completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Hamílton Matos a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Bacaina getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
