Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ezequiel Moura took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claudinho Aguiar. Claudinho Aguiar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Diogo Quirino hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Sabino de Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronaldo Sampaio kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Rubinho Nogueira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Cássio Fonseca made a huge save. After 26 played minutes Acaam got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Moura. With a little luck, Acaam's Cássio Fonseca got control of the ball when Rubinho Nogueira tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabino de Medeiros in the 30th minute of play forced Acaam's goalkeeper Cássio Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Acaam's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. José Maria das Neves was slow to take the kick. During this time Tafona's players had a chance to rest. Sabino de Medeiros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rubinho Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Cássio Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 38 in the game by Rubinho Nogueira from a close distance when the talented Cássio Fonseca managed to make a qualified save. Acaam's players were relieved. In the 40th minute, Bernardo Baptista made a precise shot to the right of Claudinho Aguiar. Tafona's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 45 played minutes, Acaam's Patrício Fernandez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Claudinho Aguiar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Acaam reached it. Bernardo Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinho Aguiar having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sabino de Medeiros to make the kick off. Cássio Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabino de Medeiros in the 52nd minute of play. Sílvio Queiroz hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. When Christian Goiano came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Acaam fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Goiano couldn't finish the play. Benjamin Paraíba received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Claudinho Aguiar came out and tried to block the shot, but Benjamin Paraíba slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 71st minute. If Christian Goiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tafona's Claudinho Aguiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Goiano in the 77th minute of play. Rubinho Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Acaam's zone, Rubinho Nogueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cássio Fonseca came out of the goal and Rubinho Nogueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Tafona's Claudinho Aguiar got control of the ball when Bernardo Baptista tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 89th minute of the game, Diogo Quirino landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Edu Carioca fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tafona's protests and gave Edu Carioca a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Acaam booed when Tafona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edu Carioca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo Baptista's late challenge caught a Tafona's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardo Baptista helped the player get up and apologised. The Acaam players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
