Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dário Dias made the kick off which started today's match. 5 minutes into the match, Igarassu's goalkeeper Norberto de Medeiros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dário Dias. In the 6th minute, Pedro Augusto Corrêa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Norberto de Medeiros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dário Dias went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Ricardinho Ceresso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Norberto de Medeiros made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dudu Fantini in the 19th minute of play forced Amandaba's goalkeeper Jardel Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Dudu Fantini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Igarassu's supporters rose to their feet, but Dudu Fantini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jardel Miranda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ricardinho Ceresso struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Norberto de Medeiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amandaba. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of Igarassu:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Amandaba:s goal. In the 44th minute, the referee gave Amandaba a penalty. Donato da Silva looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Norberto de Medeiros. 47 minutes into the match, Jardel Soares notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Amandaba's Jardel Miranda. Jardel Miranda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The wind increased when Jardel Soares made the kick off in the second half. Norberto de Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dário Dias in the 55th minute of play. Amandaba's Jardel Miranda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Amandaba from getting a goal against them. Pedro Augusto Corrêa charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Augusto Corrêa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jardel Soares might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jardel Miranda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jardel Soares ran back to his position shaking his head. Igarassu's Dudu Fantini got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Amandaba fans cheered their team off the field, for while Igarassu had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
