Nilton Leal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sabino Schmidt in the 2nd minute of the match. If Elano Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Elano Quintal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aleluia SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elano Quintal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nilton Leal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nilton Leal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabino Schmidt in the 13th minute of play. After 14 played minutes Aleluia SC got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Gomes. Júlio Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jânio das Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Jânio das Neves struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Júlio Almeida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mimosa. Gino da Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aleluia SC's Elano Quintal got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sabino Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd match minute, Aleluia SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elano Quintal to maneuver through the defense. Nilton Leal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elano Quintal in the 34th minute. Sabino Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafinha Coutinho in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Júlio Almeida saved Aleluia SC from getting behind.

Elano Quintal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilton Leal having to interfere. If Sabino Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the match, Mimosa's goal looked a bit too open when Elano Quintal came free, but Nilton Leal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Rafinha Coutinho came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Mimosa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafinha Coutinho couldn't finish the play. When Ernesto Nóbrega fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aleluia SC's protests and gave Ernesto Nóbrega a yellow card for diving instead. Mimosa's Nilton Leal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elano Quintal in the 75th minute of play. In the 82nd match minute, Aleluia SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gino da Rocha to maneuver through the defense. When Jânio das Neves came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Mimosa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jânio das Neves couldn't finish the play. Jânio das Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aleluia SC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
