When Carlos Fernando Sá fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caresalzinho's protests and gave Carlos Fernando Sá a yellow card for diving instead. Juvenal Eger stood somewhat misplaced when Haroldo Lucas came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 28 minute. In the 33rd minute, Carlos Fernando Sá got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Haroldo Lucas sped through Caresalzinho's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Juvenal Eger.

The wind increased when Guga Lira made the kick off in the second half. Juvenal Eger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Diniz in the 52nd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Haroldo Lucas sped through Caresalzinho's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Juvenal Eger. 65 minutes into the match, Haroldo Lucas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juvenal Eger. Caresalzinho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Haroldo Lucas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Guga Lira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Filipe Santos. That made the score 4-1 in the 68 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Haroldo Lucas in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juvenal Eger saved Caresalzinho from getting behind. In the 74th minute of the match Daniel França sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juvenal Eger skillfully saved the ball. Juan Diniz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juvenal Eger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. After some careless play in the Caresalzinho defense, Juan Diniz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juvenal Eger. The Caresalzinho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juvenal Eger should have stopped the shot. Haroldo Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juvenal Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Lucas, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 93rdth minute of the game Juan Diniz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caresalzinho's Juvenal Eger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Juvenal Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Diniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
