When Serginho Meirelles fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uberaba FC's protests and gave Serginho Meirelles a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Uberaba FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. If Flavinho Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Téo Sá hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After 38 minutes of play, Uberaba FC's Gil Cordeiro made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiago Cruz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tiago Cruz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gil Cordeiro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 43 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flavinho Carneiro during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Flavinho Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silvério Fontes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 83rd minute, Gil Cordeiro made a precise shot to the right of Tiago Cruz. Meu Pau na Tua Mão FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. One of Meu Pau na Tua Mão FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Uberaba FC:s goal. Gil Cordeiro did an outstanding performance 97 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 6-1 to the right of an irritated Tiago Cruz in the goal.
