Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fred Tande took the kick off in the first half of the match. Fred Tande took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeferson Gonçalves. Jeferson Gonçalves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 8th match minute, Poeira SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lúcio da Costa to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Dorival Pinheiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeferson Gonçalves was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. After 13 played minutes Poeira SS got a freekick which was hit by José Pedro Toscano. After a rather tough play, Poeira SS's Raphael Pena got a free kick in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Fred Tande had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeferson Gonçalves. Poeira SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fred Tande was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Novo Hamburgo's Dorival Pinheiro got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fred Tande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nilson Azevedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Jan Pająk made a huge save. Dráusio Loureiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36thth minute of the game Fred Tande who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Poeira SS's Jeferson Gonçalves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fred Tande might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeferson Gonçalves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fred Tande ran back to his position shaking his head. Dorival Pinheiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeferson Gonçalves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Poeira SS's Jeferson Gonçalves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorival Pinheiro in the 44th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dráusio Loureiro to make the kick off. If Nilson Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Fred Tande sped through Poeira SS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jeferson Gonçalves. Jan Pająk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nilson Azevedo went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Dráusio Loureiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Pająk having to interfere. Dorival Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raphael Pena kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Novo Hamburgo's Abdülhak Çelebi tried to score from far away in the 76th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Pedro Toscano during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dorival Pinheiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeferson Gonçalves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dorival Pinheiro ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dorival Pinheiro got free with Jeferson Gonçalves in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Miguel Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Poeira SS's Dráusio Loureiro got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 87 minutes into the game, Serginho Ortiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Novo Hamburgo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Poeira SS the free kick. Serginho Ortiz kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Dráusio Loureiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Jan Pająk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 98th minute, Nilson Azevedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Poeira SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. The Novo Hamburgo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
