Edmílson Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaime Tinoco in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeferson Gonçalves saved Poeira SS from getting behind. Alan dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 16 played minutes TacaraCatica FC got a freekick which was hit by Elder Chaves. After a defensive mix-up in Poeira SS's zone, Edmílson Borges stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeferson Gonçalves came out of the goal and Edmílson Borges tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st minute, TacaraCatica FC's Edmílson Borges dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. If Edmílson Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeferson Gonçalves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alan dos Santos's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Jeferson Gonçalves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan dos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Edmílson Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marquinhos Santana during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 41 played minutes TacaraCatica FC got a freekick which was hit by Marquinhos Santana. Alan dos Santos scored 2-0 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jeferson Gonçalves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dráusio Loureiro to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Jaime Tinoco sped through Poeira SS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jeferson Gonçalves. In the 56th minute Alan dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeferson Gonçalves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Edmílson Borges cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Jeferson Gonçalves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 63 played minutes TacaraCatica FC got a freekick which was hit by Dráusio Vides. With a little luck, TacaraCatica FC's Rodolfo Queiroz got control of the ball when Nilson Azevedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 67th match minute, Poeira SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Furtado to maneuver through the defense. TacaraCatica FC's Luciano Mendes was substituted for Marquinhos Santana. After 69 played minutes Poeira SS got a freekick which was hit by André Furtado. Alan dos Santos was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 69th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Edmílson Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute Edmílson Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeferson Gonçalves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmílson Borges recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Poeira SS's zone, Jaime Tinoco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeferson Gonçalves came out of the goal and Jaime Tinoco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Poeira SS getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. André Furtado hit a great ball. Jeferson Gonçalves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan dos Santos in the 89th minute of the match. Edmílson Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the TacaraCatica FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
