The supporters of Camboapina booed when Itacaramby SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horácio Meira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Itacaramby SC defense, Vânderson Mendonça kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Glauco de Senna. The Itacaramby SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Glauco de Senna should have stopped the shot. Itacaramby SC's Glauco de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vágner Bueno in the 17th minute of play. Arí Simões might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over João Paulo Couto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arí Simões ran back to his position shaking his head. César Couto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 38th match minute, Itacaramby SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Paiva to maneuver through the defense. After 40 minutes, André Luiz Moreno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Camboapina and the Itacaramby SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Camboapina's André Luiz Moreno got a free kick in the 40th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, João Paulo Couto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by Camboapina's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Natã de Queiroz was slow to take the kick. During this time Itacaramby SC's players had a chance to rest. Glauco de Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olavo Toscano in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Olavo Toscano notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Itacaramby SC's Glauco de Senna. Glauco de Senna was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arí Simões to strike the kick off in the second half. Camboapina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vânderson Mendonça was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Glauco de Senna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olavo Toscano went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 70th minute, Vágner Bueno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Glauco de Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olavo Toscano in the 73rd minute of play. Caco Soeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Itacaramby SC's Wanderson de Sena got a free kick in the 78th minute. Horácio Meira hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Vágner Bueno hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 98th match minute, Camboapina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rony Miranda to maneuver through the defense. In the 99th minute of the match Natã de Queiroz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but João Paulo Couto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
