Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) João Carlos Teles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mazinho Alves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Maurinho Campidelis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Carlos Teles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Mazinho Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Cleiton Rezende managed to get in a good position for a shot. CGMS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cleiton Rezende was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardinho Almeida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 15 minutes into the match, Vikings's goalkeeper Ricardinho Almeida had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cleiton Rezende. 17 minutes into the match, Vikings's goal looked a bit too open when Cleiton Rezende came free, but Ricardinho Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardinho Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caco Martins in the 19th minute of play. Giuseppe Queiroz took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mazinho Alves. Mazinho Alves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 27 played minutes Vikings got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Diniz. Cleiton Rezende's late challenge caught a Vikings's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cleiton Rezende helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Vikings booed when CGMS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleiton Rezende didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giuseppe Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Mazinho Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Noel Rossi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vikings's João Carlos Teles got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ricardinho Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nando Almeida in the 42nd minute of play. Ricardinho Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caco Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The CGMS FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vikings were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Caco Martins to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Alberto Ramalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 53 minutes, Maurinho Campidelis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vikings and the CGMS FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Maurinho Campidelis kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. If Giuseppe Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardinho Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caco Martins in the 63rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, CGMS FC's Téo Lago got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute, João Carlos Teles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the match, Giuseppe Queiroz notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of CGMS FC's Mazinho Alves. Mazinho Alves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 85 minutes of play Vikings's Maurinho Campidelis was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Vikings's Maurinho Campidelis got a free kick in the 86th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Caco Martins in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardinho Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Giuseppe Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CGMS FC's Cleiton Rezende got his second yellow card of the match in the 95th minute. The referee ordered Cleiton Rezende off the ground. A collision led to CGMS FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Cleiton Rezende hit a great ball. Vikings's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
