Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) BNU FC's Aílton Borges started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the game, Octavio Egoi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Willian de Salles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aílton Borges received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Thiago Volpi came out and tried to block the shot, but Aílton Borges slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 14th minute. Octavio Egoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willian de Salles having to interfere. If Zé Roberto Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thiago Volpi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmo Mineiro in the 29th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Octavio Egoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willian de Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Volpi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aílton Borges in the 34th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the game, Narciso Trevisan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BNU FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clube Athletico Paulinho the free kick. After 46 played minutes BNU FC got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Trevisan. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zé Roberto Perez to strike the kick off in the second half. Thiago Volpi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cléberson Souto, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Dalmo Mineiro's late challenge caught a Clube Athletico Paulinho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dalmo Mineiro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th match minute, BNU FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmo Mineiro to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, BNU FC's Aílton Borges got a free kick in the 74th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Clube Athletico Paulinho's goal looked a bit too open when Aílton Borges came free, but Thiago Volpi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cléberson Souto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clube Athletico Paulinho's Thiago Volpi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Durvalino Goiano in the 81st minute of play. Thiago Volpi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cléberson Souto in the 83rd minute of the match. Thiago Volpi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cléberson Souto, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Helger Nurmik might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Willian de Salles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Roberto Perez couldn't finish the play. 92 minutes into the game, BNU FC's Aílton Borges nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thiago Volpi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. After a rather tough play, BNU FC's Narciso Trevisan got a free kick in the 95th minute. Clube Athletico Paulinho's Octavio Egoi got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, BNU FC could leave the field as winners, despite Clube Athletico Paulinho having more of the ball for most of the match.
