Cícero Arruda started the match with the kick off. If Cleiton Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sílvio Luiz Fonseca got free with Osvaldo Aguiar in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nando Carioca kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Osvaldo Aguiar was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ramón Gaspar. If Wiliam Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 30 minutes, Dalmo Ferreira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arvores and the Guajara FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Guajara FC booed when Arvores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmo Ferreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cacá Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiliam Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Wiliam Alvarenga kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. If Cleiton Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cacá Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleiton Vieira in the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th match minute, Arvores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nando Carioca to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 41 minutes, Wiliam Moura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arvores's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wiliam Moura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cacá Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleiton Vieira in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half Arvores were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Cleiton Vieira made the kick off in the second half. Cleiton Vieira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Cacá Rocha when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Adilson Pires's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cacá Rocha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Cacá Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiliam Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Osvaldo Aguiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dênis Leite in the 58th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Wiliam Alvarenga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Wiliam Moura took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Cacá Rocha to make any attempt to save it. Adilson Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Cleiton Vieira put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Cacá Rocha. Cleiton Vieiras short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Cacá Rocha to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Arvores's Nando Carioca suffered a concussion after 76 minutes and had to leave the field. Arvores made a substitution. Eurico Vianna replaced Nando Carioca. After a rather tough play, Guajara FC's Dênis Leite got a free kick in the 77th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Adilson Pires could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Cacá Rocha however easily saved by the left post. In the 79th minute, Arvores's Adilson Pires ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cacá Rocha. Cacá Rocha yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. When Arvores's Cleiton Vieira in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guajara FC's goalie prevented a goal. Cacá Rocha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wiliam Moura's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Cacá Rocha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adilson Pires went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Arvores played a much better game than Guajara FC and deserved their victory. The Guajara FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
