An unexpectedly hard shot by Dé Brodel in the 3rd minute of play forced corinthians's goalkeeper Roger Luz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the game, Alberto da Mata cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Guilherme de Queiroz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto da Mata got free with Guilherme de Queiroz in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Afonso Koehler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Luz having to interfere. Emílio Mendonça hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the game, Afonso Koehler cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Roger Luz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Roger Luz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Koehler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. corinthians's Roger Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Koehler in the 18th minute of play. When Glauco Pereira fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored corinthians's protests and gave Glauco Pereira a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Olinto AD booed when corinthians was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Glauco Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. corinthians's Roger Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Koehler in the 21st minute of play. Edu Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guilherme de Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Macedo in the 29th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, corinthians's Guilherme de Queiroz threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tony Macedo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After the first half Olinto AD were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Afonso Koehler to make the kick off. Roger Luz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Afonso Koehler showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 55 minute of play. Guilherme de Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto da Mata in the 64th minute of the match. If Alberto da Mata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Afonso Koehler kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roger Luz. That made the score 1-4 in the 67 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Afonso Koehler in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roger Luz saved corinthians from getting behind. In the 77th minute, Afonso Koehler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guilherme de Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto da Mata in the 78th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Carlos Passos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 85 played minutes Dé Brodel rounded corinthians's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-5. Cícero Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 91st minute, Alberto da Mata left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The corinthians fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. Olinto AD's Afonso Koehler got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 98th minute, Olinto AD's Dé Brodel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roger Luz. Roger Luz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-6. When the match was over Olinto AD could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than corinthians throughout the match.
