Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Luiz Fernando Fernandez started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Luiz Guilherme Soeiro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paulo de Amaral. The goal made the score 1-0. After having played for 6 minutes, Wilson Alagoano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ponte Branca FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilson Alagoano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roberto Couto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Paulo de Amaral made a huge save. Paulo de Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fernando Fernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Roberto Couto succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 14th playminute. Luiz Eduardo Falcão struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. André Luís Sanches didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ponte Branca FC. In the 23rd match minute, Carnaubas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Guilherme Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, Ponte Branca FC's Wilson Alagoano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that André Luís Sanches narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Dito Neiva fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ponte Branca FC's protests and gave Dito Neiva a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ponte Branca FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! With an all-out effort, Carnaubas's Paulo de Amaral threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luiz Guilherme Soeiro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Paulo de Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fernando Fernandez in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Roberto Couto fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Paulo de Amaral was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Roberto Couto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Roberto Couto really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Luiz Fernando Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo de Amaral having to interfere. With a little luck, Ponte Branca FC's Paulo de Amaral got control of the ball when Roberto Couto tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luiz Eduardo Falcão made a kick off. In the 54th minute Luiz Fernando Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo de Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Ponte Branca FC defense, Elder Leal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo de Amaral. The Ponte Branca FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo de Amaral should have stopped the shot. If Luiz Eduardo Falcão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Wilson Alagoano put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of André Luís Sanches. Luiz Eduardo Falcão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luís Sanches having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Wilson Alagoano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of André Luís Sanches, 4-2. In the 77th minute, Diguinho Mendes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ponte Branca FC's goalkeeper Paulo de Amaral, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Paulo de Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Guilherme Soeiro in the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st minute Roberto Couto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo de Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo de Amaral came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Carnaubas's Luiz Fernando Fernandez. But to his dismay, Luiz Fernando Fernandez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. After 87 played minutes, Carnaubas's Mateus Freitas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paulo de Amaral came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Carnaubas reached it. With a little luck, Carnaubas's André Luís Sanches got control of the ball when Luiz Eduardo Falcão tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Wilson Alagoano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but André Luís Sanches was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. 96 minutes into the match, Luiz Eduardo Falcão notched a goal, 5-3, to the right of Carnaubas's André Luís Sanches. André Luís Sanches was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ponte Branca FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Carnaubas.
