Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. João Augusto Lira started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute, Doni Soeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Beco EC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Betão Quirino hit a great ball. Baltazar Toscano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dedê Reis in the 12th minute of play. Cartoleiro FC's Dedê Reis got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baltazar Toscano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matheus Mazza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Dedê Reis came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Cartoleiro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dedê Reis couldn't finish the play. Natã Peres hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Dedê Reis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Baltazar Toscano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. João Augusto Lira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Samuca Vieira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cartoleiro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuca Vieira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baltazar Toscano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Cartoleiro FC's Matheus Mazza got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute, Matheus Mazza reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Baltazar Toscano. The goal made the score 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonel Soeiro made a kick off. If João Augusto Lira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. João Augusto Lira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baltazar Toscano having to make a save. Baltazar Toscano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Augusto Lira, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Betão Quirino during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 65 played minutes Beco EC got a freekick which was hit by Betão Quirino. After having played for 66 minutes, João Augusto Lira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cartoleiro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Augusto Lira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. João Augusto Lira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Baltazar Toscano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beco EC's Baltazar Toscano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dedê Reis in the 75th minute of play. The supporters of Beco EC booed when Cartoleiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matheus Mazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Egídio Neto during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 85th match minute, Cartoleiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egídio Neto to maneuver through the defense. Raúl Ramos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but David Negri made a huge save. Betão Quirino was shown his second yellow card after 87 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Beco EC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Betão Quirino hit a great ball. João Augusto Lira scored 3-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baltazar Toscano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cartoleiro FC had played much better football throughout.
