The throw-in from Alexandre Leite in the 3rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Uirapuru's Luís Guilherme Linhares. David Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vivaldo Aparecido in the 5th minute of play. David Negri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vivaldo Aparecido's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alessandro Garcia during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Cartoleiro FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Alessandro Garcia hit a great ball. Betão Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Augusto Lira in the 14th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dedê Reis got free with Betão Lopes in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dedê Reis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th match minute, Uirapuru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Pedro Esteves to maneuver through the defense. Alexandre Leite received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Betão Lopes came out and tried to block the shot, but Alexandre Leite slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 23rd minute. Cacá Silva hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. A collision led to Uirapuru getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Guto Tasso hit a great ball. Dedê Reis made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 28thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Betão Lopes would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. A collision led to Cartoleiro FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Matheus Mazza hit a great ball. Betão Lopes was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Dedê Reis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dedê Reis really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dedê Reis got free with Betão Lopes in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th match minute, Cartoleiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egídio Neto to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Tomé Baptista sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cartoleiro FC's David Negri didn't even have to move. After a rather tough play, Uirapuru's Joaquim Viana got a free kick in the 45th minute. Uirapuru were furious when José Pedro Esteves was red carded, 48 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Uirapuru fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 47th minute. Penalty! In the 50th minute of the game, Cartoleiro FC got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 57th minute of the match, Mário Fonseca tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but David Negri saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. João Augusto Lira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. João Augusto Lira hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Vivaldo Aparecido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. David Negri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 66 played minutes Cartoleiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Egídio Neto. David Negri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vivaldo Aparecido in the 71st minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, João Augusto Lira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Betão Lopes was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Betão Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matheus Mazza, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 81st minute, Matheus Mazza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
