When Elói Cardoso came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Barathinaikos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elói Cardoso couldn't finish the play. Felippe Corrêa hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Barathinaikos's Elói Cardoso got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 26 minutes into the game, Tupaoca FC's Felippe Corrêa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valdo Barbosa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Thanks to some nice moves Bruno Amaral could shoot a difficult shot in the 30th minute, which Valdo Barbosa however easily saved by the left post. Bruno Amaral's late challenge caught a Barathinaikos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bruno Amaral helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Tupaoca FC's Bruno Amaral got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 43rd minute, Evaristo Furtado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felippe Corrêa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Barathinaikos's Valdo Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Maranhense in the 53rd minute of play. Elói Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Elói Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felippe Corrêa scored 3-3 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valdo Barbosa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 62 minutes into the game, Tupaoca FC's Fabinho Tasso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valdo Barbosa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-3. Valdo Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felippe Corrêa, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Valdo Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Amaral in the 70th minute of the match. Valdo Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Amaral in the 97th minute of the match. Tupaoca FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Barathinaikos for a fine match.
