Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luiz Luz to make the kick off. João Proença received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Paulo Berger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Luz in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Berger saved Tapuru FC from getting behind. In the 59th minute, Luiz Luz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo Berger was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramiro Correia during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Rockefeller F. C. booed when Tapuru FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Correia didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Rockefeller F. The Tapuru FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo Berger should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rockefeller F. C. had played much better football throughout.
