No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Váldson Ortiz took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Zé Neiva to make any attempt to save it. Adelino de Sousa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Zé Neiva made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ibicaba had won after a very even match.
