The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé Pedro Senna got free with Bebeto Palmeira in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bebeto Palmeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulinho Aguiar in the 21st minute of the match. Paulinho Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Zé Pedro Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jarbas Prestes kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. With a little luck, Dula's Bebeto Palmeira got control of the ball when Zé Pedro Senna tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Zé Pedro Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Dula's goalkeeper Bebeto Palmeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zé Pedro Senna. Bebeto Palmeira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zé Pedro Senna in the 48th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

55 minutes into the match, Dula's goal looked a bit too open when Paulinho Aguiar came free, but Bebeto Palmeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Dula getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Thiago da Rocha hit a great ball. Naldo Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Telmo Barros in the 58th minute of play. The supporters of Atalho SS booed when Dula was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remo Abraão didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Thiago da Rocha fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dula's protests and gave Thiago da Rocha a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th minute, Thiago da Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th match minute, Dula was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thiago da Rocha to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, Dula's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Pedro Senna came free, but Bebeto Palmeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Atalho SS's goalkeeper Naldo Reis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Márcio de Medeiros. Paulinho Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the game, Zé Pedro Senna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Bebeto Palmeira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Márcio de Medeiros came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Dula fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Márcio de Medeiros couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulinho Aguiar in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bebeto Palmeira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dula's Bebeto Palmeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Pedro Senna in the 83rd minute of play. Paulinho Aguiar struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Bebeto Palmeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atalho SS. In the 87th minute, Zé Pedro Senna made a precise shot to the right of Bebeto Palmeira. Dula's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Bebeto Palmeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manoel Mendes in the 91st minute of play. If Manoel Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Atalho SS had played much better football throughout.
